Novosibirsk region in the early bronze age (II Millennium BC) was inhabited by the nomads from the territory of Kuzbass. This is evidenced by granite grave discovered by archaeologists Novosibirsk state Museum of local lore.
“During the excavations on the monument, “Birch island-1″ was found in burial boxes . made of granite slabs. Such graveyards for our area are uncommon. And here in the Kuzbass, many of them, there is a mountain region, a lot of stone”, – explained senior researcher of the Museum, candidate of historical Sciences Sergey Roslyakov.
According to the hypothesis of scientists, the ancient inhabitants of Kuzbass moved from their territories in modern Novosibirsk region under the pressure of stronger tribes from the steppe regions of Tuva and Khakassia. However, their burial traditions they retain, despite the lack of stones.

Bishkek, July 2 /Kabar/. Scientists from Russia and Kyrgyzstan started joint archaeological excavations on the southern shore of lake Issyk-Kul. Archaeologists expect to find evidence of the existence near the village Tuura-Suu Kyrgyz of the ancient capital of the Principality. This is with reference to the supervisor of the archaeological complex “Parking Omsk”, Professor Boris Konikov reports the press center of MD media.
